As the culmination of the Core Continuum, the Core VII course is a monumental accomplishment for doctors on the journey. Through the continuum they have been advised to delay full mouth reconstruction cases until after they have completed this Core VII course as it is in this program that they are able to utilize and learn the techniques that enable them to maintain the jaw relationship and the bite that supports comfort and health in their patients. This course is a significant accomplishment, and at the same time, the beginning of the journey.

The doctors who complete this course generally are the most dedicated and committed doctors and will continue their journey through the variety of other courses offered such as the TMD and Advanced Scan Interpretation courses. The human being is a complicated and intricate machine and the dental profession is only just now beginning to understand and discover the nature of comfort and function. It is only with being able to study the hard tissues like the teeth and bones along with the soft tissues like muscles that we can truly offer a service to our patients that allows them to rehabilitate their mouth and restore it to true comfort and function. While the Core VII course is the minimal level of training before we suggest a doctor attempt to treat a patient with full mouth reconstruction, it generally isn’t the last course accomplished.
